This marks a pivot point for Really Taking America Back, a merger, really, with the project that's taken most of my energy for months, and will until the election: the launch of UNAFRAID into the world.
UNAFRAID is a particularly powerful vehicle for much of what I have to say about Really Taking America Back. One of the first steps is to remember, despite the powerfully discouraging news around us, that we still can. Another way to say that: a foundational task is to decisively expand our notion of what's possible in politics and public life, to break out of the cynicism that shackles our efforts and hugely serves those who hold power over us today. That's the exact core of As If We Were Grownups, which you see promoted in the right-hand column.
UNAFRAID takes that same thread to a general fiction audience, posing an answer to what Boomers like me have wondered over the last 40 years: how would history have unfolded if JFK had survived Dallas and gone on to serve two full terms in the White House? The plot lets us imagine a leader who is, in his own words, unafraid of the American people.
So if unafraid is the mindset we need from both leaders and citizen/activists (that would be you and me) to Really Take America Back, and if we now have UNAFRAID the book ---excerpts from which you can easily read --- what if we make our interactive discussion UNAFRAID the Blog?

you realize you need to participate, you realize you need to overcome fears.....then what?
to be unafraid is ludicrous; if you are not paranoid, you are not paying attention to the world in politics; our Gov; & the fact that they are bought & paid for by the wealthy; however, overcoming the fears that would paralyze us; recognizing the problems & working on via solutions is what is best; you are NOT going to get "help" from the Gov;
to really take America back: you have to LOOK at reality & not what you have been TAUGHT or ASSUMED to be: #1. Woodrow Wilson, Pres during WW1, lamented the fact that we were no longer a land of the free, nor even of majority vote; but rather under the dictates & rules of a few dominent men. (dictatorship); so, WHY do you THINK that you are free? Who told you that? The same folks who told you that there were weapons of mass destruction in Iraq? The same ones who promised the Indians many things but have YET to make good on many? www.democracynow.org; type in Indians & oil; The SAME ones who "showed" you Mrs Bush on a lovely visit in Afghanistan where the women are no longer abused and everything is wonderful? About a month b/4 over 100 Americans killed in what a couple of days? WHY & WHAT makes YOU think you are "free"?
did you know democracy has become the most despised & despicable name on the planet due to the graft, greed, corruption our the USA Gov? demoted to "voting" which most citizens no longer due because it is FRAUD; it is FAKE; votes are BOUGHTEN; and the young just laugh; ha ha ha; DOESN"T MATTER WE KNOW BETTER! BRIBING the heads of other countries; claiming have gotten away with it in USA for years; & putting $ in off shore accounts; they can do whatever they want they claim cuz they appoint the dept of justice what a joke! kinda like jumbo shrimp; ???? hello; and of course, the judges selected just by them; folks argue & worry about removing the words under God from Pledge of Alliegace; God is to be to be concerned or feel slighted if the words are there or not; I believe He would much prefer to see "and justice for all" removed from the Pledge of Allliegance; Because it is NOT in the USA today, nor has been for years; He was going to destroy the USA because of the oppression of the Gov & the way our nation was set up in 1949 & 1950; only reason it exists today is due to intervention thru His women & men; they all repented b/4 Him & His folks: for staying His Hand; so, why do YOU think the USA is a "good" country?
This nation was set up to be run FOR THE PEOPLE: originally Corps were set up with laws PROTECTING the PEOPLE: taxes were set up for all to be paid for by the PROFITS from Big Business; Unfortunately what has happened is the OPPOSITE: the same wealthy folks who owned the large plantations in the South: the extremely wealthy; went to the politicians and bought & paid for them long ago; NOW the people are paying the taxes; Even for the Corporations: just like Ronald Reagan laid out the plan during his reign; and so to follow is the "you've seen one tree, you've seen them all; cut them all down & build; (that's right folks; its on it's way today; ignore conservation; ignore parks, wildlife, etc; they are for PROFIT and AGAINST the people of the world; it is a global domination reaching from the USA & Corps they bought & paid for long ago; as the heads of other countries are told, we've gotten away with it in USA for years: now YOU can to! HOW are they doing it? Glad you asked!
1st of all: understand this: our country brought back top Nazi's and set them up handsomely for 1 purpose: to study & learn from them. HOW they did what they did; HOW 1/2 of the people had no clue of what they were REALLY up to: and how they made things appear (see BLUNDER: and REDOUBT) to be so real when in reality is was an ILLUSION. But fooled the allies into THINKING it was real. All of these tools they have put to work, and escalated them on to the nth degree. Using psychology, KNOWING the power of image & print, removing sublimal messagings; and controling the media;
even the underground "facilities" are all there; www.pbs.com; films, etc; you can order it there; might also want to see if you can come across the book Blunder; it describes redoubt & how all the allies THOUGHT it was real; when in reality it was not; you see, in order to take AMERICA BACK: you have to understand WHERE it is, how it came to be where it is; and WHAT it truly is; and HOW they "claiming" to be democracy; and how they "claim" democracy works: is ALL made up by them folks; even down to the point of "truth is relative"; meaning their position is they are gods; whatever THEY state is truth; is truth; even when it is a LIE; deception, deceit, lies, misleadings, silent when should be loud; claiming repeatedly to be a "land of law" in reality, they operate outside of all laws; laws of USA; laws of Congress; international laws; oaths of office were done away with long ago; smiling warmly, honestly, and sincerely insincere; PEOPLE have no rights at all; are not even recognized by the Gov; ONLY Corp's are; and they SIT DOWN with them to discuss how best to HARM the people; and how to DECEIVE, mislead, distract, cause divisions; THAT is why they claim: Rep, or Dem; Left, or right; Prochoice; or against; KNOWING that if they can DISTRACT THEM they will express or focus on THAT rather than on the REALITY of what IS!
JFK was killed by people in the USA Gov: he was voted in by POPULAR vote; NOT electoral; and had the audacity to state he was going to clean up graft and corruption on Capitol Hill; starting with the deliberate stealing by the Pentagon over spending on military items; claiming the FBI forensically proved the bullet that killed him came for Oswald's box of bullets; came undone in 2006 when the FBI went to proclaim that indeed they could NOT forensically link bullets that way; here was a list of approximately 100 folks they had testified in cases; they had to release or give new trials; Schwartzenegger introduced a bill claiming that it COULD be done, when in reality it CAN NOT; and it of course became LAW in this lawless society of "leaders";
JFK took NO money for his service in Congress nor as Pres: for this NOT to be a conspiracy would mean that our Gov was so trustworthy that Haliburton, and Blackwater, are accepting the same pay he did: NOTHING. HE was truly FOR THE PEOPLE of the nation; and had to die; because it simply will NOT be done; it is DICTATORSHIP, NOT DEMOCRACY! It is set up to victimize to the nth degree, each & every single individual in the nation: except of course for the "chosen" ones: who call themselfs gods: or "superclass" who are so ABOVE everyone else; the extremely wealthy. The LOVE OF MONEY (not money) it is simply a means to an end: but THE LOVE of money is the ROOT of ALL EVIL is the very best scripture to describe to a T which is happening & has been happening in the USA for a very great deal of it's life; www.democracynow.org; Indians and oil; www.pbs.com; bill moyers journal; capitol crimes; THIS is how our Gov works folks: in order for it to be TAKEN BACK: you HAVE GOT TO KNOW the way it runs;
Now: the Corps work hand in hand with Gov: one thing Hitler did was poison the people: which has been aggressively persued to the nth degree & beyond going "global"; simply means folks world dominion with the SAME Nazi mentality that Hitler had; NOTHING has changed; it is OUR GOV working with Corps to force this same enslavement on the people of exery single nation; the world: food ACCESS is the problem: WHY? we have run around telling them to HOLD THE SUPPLY of food until they get a higher price: THIS IS THE WAY IT IS DONE! and successfully worked for YEARS in the USA; it has made US rich! will do the SAME for YOU! sad but true; all the "aide" we claimed we were giving to other countries: Gov kept over 2/3s of it for themselves claiming "overhead expenses";
