Do you remember Rodney King, the guy in LA who was videotaped as cops used him as a pinata? There was a riot in LA when the cops were acquitted of all charges, and Rodney was famously quoted as saying "Can't we just all get along?"A lot of my columns ask more or less the same thing. Haven't really heard much in the way of answers. In this weekend's column, I want to know -- I really DO want to know -- why it often seems we can't. We're still fighting over such stupid stuff. Would it help to understand why?
I keep thinking so.
